Lake of Tranquility

Amazing property. We had a lovely stay, views were great and the teenagers loved the kayak (even in winter) and the ping pong room was a huge hit. Would love to stay again.

The home was quaint and had beautiful views of the lake. We should have reviewed the listing more thoroughly, however. We thought the home had two easily accessible bathrooms, but the one bathroom and bedroom was in a completely separate dwelling that could only be accessed by going outside. That was disappointing. In addition, the washer and dryer are located in a very musty basement/“garage,” which like the separate dwelling, could only be accessed by going outdoors. We chose not to use the washer or dryer because of the smell inside the machines. One other note - a few pieces of furniture inside the common spaces of the home (dining room and living room) were stained. Overall, despite these notes, our stay was lovely and comfortable.

The house was positioned in a great area, very clean and tidy. We had 2 wonderful nights.

What a remarkable experience. The accommodations were great for a family of 8 and the setting was beautiful. The host is outstanding. Very attentive and communicative. She was available to assist with any issues. The facility has everything you would ever need. The kids loved the ping pong table and the kayak. The adults loved the scenery. Highly recommended fallciloty and host! John E
